Pinochle
Interested in playing pinochle? Join us on the last Thursday of each month here at the
church. This month it will be on Thursday,July 24th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. It's a great time
and place to meet new friends. If you would like to bring a snack to share, feel free but you

Annual Homemade Pie Sale August 8, 2008
We need lots of helpers for this project. Any time you can give, whether it be 2,3,4 hours or
more would be a great help. You don't need to know how to make a pie by yourself. If you

pie tins.
Friday - August 8th - 5:00 Am until done - Bake Pies. Peel apples and peaches.
Friday - August 8th - Sell pies 4:00 to 7:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church

Youth Group Events
The May 17th outing to Wilderness water park has been cancelled. We have rescheduled it
for November 22nd.
Senior citizens: Do you need help with yard work, windows washed, flowers or garden
planted, painting done or any other jobs done please let the youth group know. They would
